It was built to coax money out of naïve tourists who come to Gravity Falls to experience a bit of supernatural. She’s really helpful in terms of directing the twins’ attention into the necessary direction. Moreover, Dipper has romantic feelings towards this part-time worker which sometimes drag him aside from solving mysteries.
Using this journal as a guide, two small Sherlock Holmes begin to unravel different idiosyncrasies and secrets in the city. Feeling trapped in this small strange city, Dipper and Mabel realize they should stick together to fight secrecy and darkness lurking in Gravity Falls. The biggest secrets are always hidden somewhere near the Grunkle Stan. What is he hiding from his grandchildren so stubbornly? And who is this six-fingered creature also known as the Author?
